This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances in which refunds may be available, how cancellation requests are handled and the rights and obligations of both Trade Web Design and its clients. By engaging our services, accepting a proposal, paying an invoice or deposit, or continuing to use our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.

2. Cooling Off Period

Trade Web Design provides a three (3) calendar day cooling off period for eligible projects. The cooling off period commences upon written acceptance of a proposal, quotation or agreement together with payment of the initial deposit. Any cancellation request must be submitted in writing within the applicable cooling off period. Where work has already commenced, Trade Web Design reserves the right to deduct reasonable costs associated with consultation, planning, administration, design and development activities already completed. Nothing in this clause limits any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

3. Deposits

Most projects require a deposit before work commences. Deposits secure project scheduling, consultation time, planning activities, resource allocation and development resources. Deposits are generally non refundable. By paying a deposit, the Client acknowledges that Trade Web Design may immediately commence planning, consultation, administration, design or development activities associated with the project.

4. Website Design & Development Services

Website design and development services involve significant time, labour, expertise and resource allocation. Once work has commenced, payments made for website design and development services are generally non refundable. Refund requests will be assessed on a case by case basis and may take into consideration the amount of work completed, resources allocated and costs incurred by Trade Web Design.

5. Setup Fees

All setup fees charged by Trade Web Design are non refundable. Setup fees may cover consultation, planning, account configuration, software configuration, onboarding activities, technical setup, administration and related implementation services.

6. SEO Services

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) services are non refundable. SEO involves strategy development, research, optimisation activities, technical implementation, content improvements and ongoing work that cannot be reversed once completed. Trade Web Design does not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads, enquiries, conversions or sales and refunds will not be provided based on perceived performance outcomes.

7. Advertising Management Services

Advertising management services including Google Ads, Meta Ads and other digital advertising services are non refundable. Management fees are charged for professional expertise, campaign setup, optimisation, monitoring, reporting and related activities. Advertising spend paid directly to advertising platforms is separate from management fees and is subject to the policies of the applicable advertising platform.

8. Graphic Design & Branding Services

Payments made for graphic design, logo design, branding services, marketing materials and related creative services are generally non refundable once work has commenced. Trade Web Design invests time, resources and professional expertise into each project and completed work cannot typically be returned or reversed.

9. Software Development & App Development Services

Payments made for custom software development, application development, integrations, automation systems and related development services are generally non refundable once work has commenced. Refund requests may be considered only where required by law or where Trade Web Design determines that exceptional circumstances apply.

10. Hosting Services

Hosting fees are generally non refundable once a hosting period has commenced. Clients may cancel hosting services in accordance with the applicable service agreement; however, refunds will generally not be provided for unused portions of a hosting term unless otherwise required by law.

11. Domain Registration & Management Services

Domain registration, renewal, transfer and management fees are generally non refundable once processed. Domain services are often provided through third party registrars and may be subject to separate policies and conditions. Trade Web Design is unable to provide refunds for domain registrations, renewals or transfers that have already been completed.

12. Subscription Services

Subscription based services may be cancelled by providing at least thirty (30) days written notice. Subscription fees already paid are generally non refundable. Cancellation requests received after a billing cycle has commenced may remain payable until the applicable notice period has expired.

13. Website Subscription Plans

Where a website is supplied under a subscription arrangement, payments made under the subscription are generally non refundable. Subscription fees cover website access, hosting, maintenance, support, software licensing and related services. Cancellation of a website subscription does not automatically transfer ownership of the website to the Client. Ownership remains with Trade Web Design unless a separate buyout arrangement has been agreed and paid in full.

14. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Clients are encouraged to contact Trade Web Design directly to discuss any concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. If a chargeback, payment reversal or payment dispute is initiated, Trade Web Design reserves the right to immediately suspend associated services while the matter is investigated. This may include suspension of websites, hosting services, advertising campaigns, domains and related services. Trade Web Design reserves the right to provide documentation and records supporting the validity of charges to the relevant payment provider or financial institution.

15. Services Not Eligible For Refund

Unless otherwise required by law, refunds will generally not be provided for deposits, setup fees, completed work, partially completed work, website design services, website development services, SEO services, advertising management services, graphic design services, branding services, software development services, app development services, consultation services, hosting services, domain registrations, domain renewals, subscription fees, telecommunications services, digital products or any service that has already been delivered or substantially commenced.

16. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer rights, guarantees or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation. Where a refund, replacement or remedy is required by law, Trade Web Design will comply with its legal obligations.

17. Changes To This Refund Policy

Trade Web Design reserves the right to amend, modify or replace this Refund Policy at any time. Any updated version will be published on our website and will take effect from the date of publication.
